Why you should insulate your ceiling...

Up to 42% of Heat is LOST through your ceiling!

It is estimated that just under half of your heat in your home is lost through your ceiling. You pay a lot of money to heat your house especially in the winter time, so you do not want to waste it!

Most homes have no insulation at all, let alone in the roof. Some houses will have insulation in the roof, but this may be inadequate. Check that the insulation hasn’t shrunk down over time as it may now only be a very thin layer. Most houses have good access to the roof, so this should be the first step to making your home drier and warmer.

If you decide to do this yourself, remember to consult a professional and always wear protective gloves, glasses and a mask – I myself got very irritated eyes by not doing so!
